I PUBLISH, THEREFORE I AM

I posted something a few years back, I was probably drunk and stupid when I blogged this (I don't even remember what was I doing researching matrimonial sites, don't I have better things to do in college, like wasting time ;-)). I don't remember the post content but, I do remember posting a case study on matrimonial sites. Just a few days back, there was a Facebook update and it just stuck me that I can share my blog post with that update, it wasn't forced advertising, I was not trying to prove anything with my update...it was just a Facebook Share for god's sake.  I got a really really bad comment (which I must say, was very correct to their part, actually, I shouldn't have posted this link in that thread), and supposedly, their comment would have been worse if I were not friends with the guy who started the thread. That comment forced me to read my post once again, I dint know I can provoke people to such an extent, so, I went and read the pos...

You've been trying to tell someone the same thing again and again, because as a third person you get a better picture of whats wrong and how to correct it , and sometimes it's just a  been-there-done-that situation and you know exactly what to do to sail smooth in that situation. But unfortunately, your help is of no use because they still end up doing the same mistake. H ow much ever you try, you won't be able to make people realize something unless your a celebrity who people follow blindly - which is very unlikely. So, if you see your friend always making the same mistake, always doing the same things and expecting different results, always getting annoyed for the same reason , always unconsciously doing something unrealistic ...then what you need to do is just let it be , don't try to correct anything or add your expert comments/views, how much ever you try, you won't be able to help her , you know why? coz those who want to do the right thing would do it...

NOTE: It's about stealing ideas by trying to add more value to it...Nope, I am not discussing the movie INCEPTION . Teachers prefer students who ask too many silly questions  over know-it-alls who question the correctness of their teacher's knowledge. A so called know-it-all needs home schooling coz teachers get fed up with guys who just wouldn't let go of the fact that they know everything (really! everything!). I still remember, when I was getting trained at Wipro , my tutor did a survey to find out who all were familiar with the subject/course, after the survey she said " All those who don't know C/C++ have an advantage over those who know, coz it's easy to teach guys who are new to the subject than those who come with a so called computer science background ". I just find it difficult to think about taking care of myself. A lot of things like responsibilities, honor, respect, a need to impress, a need to pretend , a need to play safe and a lot of such stupid things in other people's way of life make my day really stressful, and I find no time to take care of myself. I just don't mind losing the most precious thing (though it will hurt like hell), I am not scared if you felt bad or if you think that I was being selfish or self-obsessed (: (), but, no matter what, I will not trade anything in this world for happiness, convenience and my way of life . Its all for a reason and I don't see anything wrong as long as I quietly do what I wanna do without hurting/bothering anyone else. I feel terrible coz today I found myself being defensive for no reason and still, I was really not able to do anything more to prove my point , and finally, I said to myself forget it and lets just be hurt for a while instead of...

Of course, its personal and you like doing personal stuff ; But, I've noticed that most of our personal talks are repetitive. Just for the sake of applying Pareto's principle, I came up with " 80% of our personal talks have only 20% fresh context ". I tend to talk more on topics which I've already talked about , that's like revision and you see, the second time I recite, I do it better than the first time. These repetitive talks are big time energy stealers, they suck the time and energy out of you, and you don't have any idea about how much energy you lose in these repetitive talks . We cracked that joke, we cracked it again. AFAIK, it was just as funny as it was before. check We discussed office , we discussed it again . Had a bad car accident, it scared the shit out of me. It could have been fatal and the accident was really unexpected (I know! that's why its called an accident) and I realized: Seat belt is a life saver - it reduces fatality by at least 80-90 percent (that's coz I had my seat belt on; I dint move a bit ,and I was steady and ready for a tumble)- But, I had 3 other people along with me...So, who would answer for them, should something tragic happen. The few seconds, around 2-3 seconds of turbulence is something the driver can never forget coz he is helpless and cant curse himself anymore for not avoiding such accidents. Whatever you say - The road was bad, the people don't know how to cross the roads, people don't know how to drive etc. The fact is you were careless and you gotta be more careful the next time. Be a Man, face it, you did screw up and thank god your lucky, accept it and don't play the blame game...

Do whatever you want and get away with no scars. Of course, a little of grudge is always a probable ;-). I was really astonished to unearth this peculiar behavior in women, I am sure even you will be astonished. I generalize this time and address the species 'women', because its not the first time it has happened, its the third time in a row. You tell a women something harsh, they feel bad. You tell a women something cheap, they feel really bad. You humiliate a women to the extent it becomes unbearable for them, they get pissed and they just wanna go away. Then, after all this, you just get a person who the women respects/trusts and get them to say a few good lines about them and there you go, the women forgets everything and self subdues all the anger within. Its simply a change over mechanism which I don't think guys posses; Guys usually don't get pissed quickly and humiliation is a complimen...

If your friends make fun of you then they just want more of you and you are one of the reasons why the group is happy. Friends making fun of each other is the best example of how open they are to each other. If you are close enough then you wont have a pinch of misunderstanding when your friend says something derogatory or something really really funny about you. Don't be a spoil sport and dont make the situation tense when your friends make fun of you, instead, do what they want you to do: Get embarrassed ;-D PS: All those who know me- Now you know, why I make fun of you! ;-) When you laugh at yourself; people don't laugh at you, they laugh with you

It was a happy happy birthday and I was really fortunate to have celebrated that way. One of my friend on hearing about my celebration, said " I cant even remember the last time I called my friends at home and my mom cooked something for them on my birthday, that would have been some time in primary school ". I was back in the primary school ;-), It was a very simple, convenient & unplanned (I repeat UNPLANNED) celebration...Friends, Food, Cake, Balloons & Ice-cream. It's a blast from the recent past, Chennai memories 2009-2010 . I really feel good coz now that I look at my albums, I know for sure that all the photos have me smiling and not simply posing. Happy people, happy faces. It took me quiet a lot of time to shortlist photos for this video coz I wanted every other photo in my album to be included, really fulfilling times ;-)  

Woohoo!! Life is a celebration. Happy 2010. The year that was: Web site development was the first word I said last year and yeah! I changed my native to Hyderabad ...lol Work transition, be it for the good or bad. Its just good to have learnt that  18 months of work experience goes to a dump when it comes to learning " HOW BUSINESS IS DONE ", entrepreneurship is still a pipe dream; I am always talking about it and every guy who's know me, will surely have heard about my business talks and words of wisdom. Virudhanagar is one and a half an hour journey from Madurai i.e. around ten hours from Chennai. It was really a quick visit and I am sure the duration wasn't enough for us to move around (2 days would have been perfect). A short trip is what you need when you get caught up in a tiring work routine. Virudhanagar is a small town with lots of SKODAS & FORDS (if you know what I mean), it remindes me of the Incredible India campaign. I was expecting farmland and lots of cattle but I guess, villages have all that, not towns. I THINK: Whats developed is tiring and some travelers (like me) look out for places which are devoid of the regular technology and westernization. NATURE is what comes in our mind when we think of the word PEACE. The house is good & the 6 of us do whatever we wanna do. Sometimes, the freedom goes way beyond the expected exploitation. There is nothing stopping me and I am damn vulnerable ;-) I just shifted to a place in Thiruvanmayur , near RTO a month back & it's a bliss there, its basically the Indian IT bachelor housing- 2 guys from Wipro Tech , 3 guys from Cognizant Tech. & one poor chap doing his M-tech in Sathyabama University (sad but true..lolz). I have become this "happily ever after" type of guy after shifting here. Just a random day at home Mornings I rise early and am game for a good 'SP Tea' (Special Tea) at a nearby outlet with a smoker buddy ;-) Then back home to some half an hour of uninterrupted shower , coz everyone else is sleeping and I am doing what I do best- singing my metal tracks in the bathroom (what did you think? ;-P). Sometimes, I take a newspaper and my player while I take a shit coz that's a good environment to read, really...

Just been from the Woodstock of India. Our Oscar winner a.k.a A.R.Rehman performed with his JAI HO gig, it was a class apart. Around 70,000 people turned up for this show which was for a social cause, just imagine the funds generated (Hopefully, its all in good hands). Around 15,000 car's in the parking lot, so it was like the whole of Chennai was driving in ECR ;-). My Concert quotient Concerts are best on TV unless you get a free ticket or your buying the costliest one - We got a decent 300 rupee ticket (the costliest being 10,000/- ... only ;-)) and guess what !!...A.R.Rehman was just a moving dot for me from where I was standing ;-), but the projection screen was good enough (no problems). Advertise on Parking lots, Tolls & other stops - I seriously feel, its so damn worth the penny. Where on earth you get to advertise yourself for free to 70,000 people. Just printing around 50,000 booklets for free distribution can do wonders to a business. If you are giving a performance...

Back from our kinda silicon valley, really a master piece ( courtesy: Electronic City, Bangalore). Three days of ALSB/OSB (some ORACLE console) training is totally off my mind coz this trip was more like a paid getaway. Not that it's my first time but ya it was my first office tour with my team. Anyone who goes there for a short stay, loves it; mainly those who have office to attend & other loads of work. 3 jam packed days: Hardly a 4hr/day sleep on these 3 days. At Wipro guest house- great hot water shower & good bed spread... & ya it's free!! Office Work- sprawling campus, lots of scenic beauty (diversifying/multi cultured girls) & mind blowing architecture/management. First of all, Happy friendships day to all you readers!! Its not a closed question, don't come up with a YES /NO answer to it coz whatever you think is correct. A helluva month!!  Today was our d-day at wipro, just finished my TRP. Since FRP, I'd never been this serious towards academics. Last weekend was full of academics, which is around a 20hrs of quality learning (most of which was revision, coz its just jumbled theory which keeps slipping out of my memory). On the other day, I got really pissed to buy a fact that sometimes a lot of your close friends don't acknowledge you for all that you do , nor do they allow other potentials to do it. The agenda does not end here, these people will blabber the shit about you which might not even be close to reality (just with the intention of taking away that appraisal & not some malicious stuff). They seem to give a hard kick to my ego & say to my face "you’re no big deal" . Amazing amazing time at the F RO 2009 (Franchise India 2009) . It was my first time to such an event, by the way I was a exhibitor in that franchise exhibition. There were around 62 franchisers present in that hall (HICC-Hyderabad International Convention Center).   As an exhibitor, we had to do some preparation (some tips for exhibitors) Come one day before to set up and get your things running. You are provided with not so cheap labour to set up your flexes/hoarding in the stall. Make it a point to get your stall placement correct coz its really good to be placed near a food stall or near the entrance/exit instead of being cornered somewhere in the hall Be flashy with your flexes coz color needs to be bright (but no very bright) for the passerby to identify the crux of your business in a sight.
