Don't add value to my idea

NOTE: It's about stealing ideas by trying to add more value to it...Nope, I am not discussing the movie INCEPTION.

Teachers prefer students who ask too many silly questions over know-it-alls who question the correctness of their teacher's knowledge. A so called know-it-all needs home schooling coz teachers get fed up with guys who just wouldn't let go of the fact that they know everything (really! everything!).

I still remember, when I was getting trained at Wipro, my tutor did a survey to find out who all were familiar with the subject/course, after the survey she said "All those who don't know C/C++ have an advantage over those who know, coz it's easy to teach guys who are new to the subject than those who come with a so called computer science background".

Disadvantage of being a know-it-all, everything seems like revision and there is nothing new to learn (FYI that's a myth). When people talk, the know-it-all will listen to it with the intent of correcting or adding more value to what's being said. Know-it-all's usually don't wanna appreciate new ideas coz they feel that there is always some more value that they can add to it. On psychoanalysis, you'll find that these know-it-all's always think that your idea isn't good enough.

Next time, if someone comes up with a genuine idea, and asks for your comment...Just do yourself a favor, listen to it and don't try to add value...if really required, suggest your tweak, but never say "if you do...blah blah blah, you have a better idea" , you are not adding value by doing that, instead, you are trying to make that idea yours.

PS: Ideas in this post is referred to casual/general day to day ideas. Of course, ideas at office require feedback, value addition etc. Anyways, please don't add value and steal ideas.
