Happy 2010

Woohoo!! Life is a celebration. Happy 2010.

The year that was:
  • Web site development was the first word I said last year and yeah! I changed my native to Hyderabad...lol
  • Work transition, be it for the good or bad. Its just good to have learnt that 18 months of work experience goes to a dump when it comes to learning "HOW BUSINESS IS DONE", entrepreneurship is still a pipe dream; I am always talking about it and every guy who's know me, will surely have heard about my business talks and words of wisdom. Never mind, that's a resolution pending for this year.
  • Entertainment and happiness is what I live for, people say "when you earn, you know the value of money and thats when you cut back on your expenditure", hell no!, I've just been the guy with least responsibilities whatsoever and fortunately, I don't have to take care of a family (actually, I need to be taken care of), my parents are my real insurance (very very fortunate). Live life like you are gonna die tomorrow, I took this line very seriously and I make sure, everyday is interesting in some or the other way. ;-)
  • Hold on and be patient. I learnt it from all the learned guys that being patient really pays. One more thing, forget the go up the corporate ladder because there is no ladder on the first place ;-), experience is not a myth. Quality education is very very very very very essential (not a college degree, I am talking about real life education) and thank god! I realized it now.
  • Reading on an average 1 book in a fortnight, not bad at all. All thanks to the saying "Leaders are readers". I gleaned an art of skimming and slicing comprehension. Around 26-27 books from the library and a few good e-books online. 
  • Did a course on "how to market yourself in a CV", damn!! I get a hell lots calls from employers; thanks to the way I've marketed myself on my CV (Show them what they want, don't blabber your life story in it). By the way, CV's are like your facebook profiles, just go ahead an become an Einstein, keep lying ;-P
  • Not everything makes sense and for god's sake, dont take a wise guy's words blindly coz I know how confidently I blabber things I am tottally unaware of. (Note: The intention was to say "I am wise"...thank you)
  • "Wise men say, only fools rush in, but, I can't help falling in love with you". Whatever it is, just dont rush into anything because it's just too crappy to get someone close and then go away all of a sudden. Just be casual and wait till it becomes irresistible coz thats when you are sure about what you want. This year was really crappy in that sense. I've learnt, how about you?
  • Who ever you live with and whatever is that you do, friends make life really really easy ...Reality check: today you are with them and tomorrow you will be with some others...keep formality away, do all that you wanna do, say all that you wanna say coz some years later your gonna be "long time no see" to them. So, go do some hugging ;-P..lol
  • Forgive and forget...Its means ask for forgiveness, if they still dont forgive then simply forget them. Wah!! What an interpretation. What I mean! Never have arrears a.k.a back logs in talks/relationships...things change, so do you.
Its 2010 and I hope I am there till 2100.;-).. Starting off with almost 30 percent of the same resolutions as last year, which means 70 percent has been accomplished. Now that's what I call, above average ;-)

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
