Everyone read it, everyone hated it

I posted something a few years back, I was probably drunk and stupid when I blogged this (I don't even remember what was I doing researching matrimonial sites, don't I have better things to do in college, like wasting time ;-)). I don't remember the post content but, I do remember posting a case study on matrimonial sites.

Just a few days back, there was a Facebook update and it just stuck me that I can share my blog post with that update, it wasn't forced advertising, I was not trying to prove anything with my update...it was just a Facebook Share for god's sake. I got a really really bad comment (which I must say, was very correct to their part, actually, I shouldn't have posted this link in that thread), and supposedly, their comment would have been worse if I were not friends with the guy who started the thread. That comment forced me to read my post once again, I dint know I can provoke people to such an extent, so, I went and read the post myself, I did find that it was full of shit but, frankly, that's how I intended it to be when I wrote that post; the four-letter words were cool, or may be it's just another stupid thing from college.

I noticed that almost everyone who clicked that link read that blog post word-by-word. Do you realize everyone hated it, but everyone read the post word-by-word. What's baffling is, the post was full of shit (to them, not to me), my readers could have closed the website right after they read the first few lines, but they choose to read it till the end. After all, the post got you curious and engaged for a few minutes, that said, I am a bad boy, and fortunately, bad boys know best;-).

PS: Lesson learnt - People like explicit content ;-), they really concentrate a lot when they see/read such content. Also, I should not post such links on facebook, trust me, I am a nice guy who likes happy people ;-), I don't like to play with people's feelings.
PS: Also, I am really very sorry to whomever I intentionally or unintentionally hurt with my blog post (http://www.gpod.in/2007/12/research-on-matrimonial-sites.html).
