What about human evolution without technology

Image
What used to take 12 years, still does? The thing that *seriously* makes me laugh is that my grandfather, my father, and I took the same amount of time (12 years) to finish our schooling. My generation had so many more facilities that my grandparents did not have; clearly, my generation could have learnt things in a much easier way and much more quickly.  I really think, with iPad,  Wikipedia   and Google, I am a pretty much a trans-human for my grandfather. I am so much more equipped, but even then, it doesn't help, does it? Education to jobs, still confusing? With what I have, what am I supposed to do? Our skill set is supposed to determine where we belong, but unfortunately, it's the degree we hold that makes for what we become (for the most part). We talk of human evolution, but if you see, for the last 100 years, we have been talking about efficient  education  systems and in the name of efficiency, we have been doing nothing  pheno...

You are not that important

If you realize that you aren't so important and that your taking things so seriously isn't running other people's lives, then you can sip your morning tea without having to worry about your emails, you can go on a vacation and actually vacate your mind and body from all the work-jazz, and yeah! You can screw up and forgive yourself. You are not really that important, no hard feelings ! Sooner the better, but you will definitely realize this someday. By the way, your work is impacting a lot of people, no doubt! But then, whatever is that you do, can be done by other humans (realistically). Just keep that in mind. Have a nice morning tea is all that I wanted to say! Now, sip-off!
