Its this time of the year when Mumbai rocks (actually Mumbai is ever rocking ;-)), here concerns are to the festival which generates family sentiments and brings everyone 2gether with lots of get together parties.

VINAYAGA POOJA @ CHENNAI:

This is what exactly i was doing today, not that it took a lot of time(10 minutes) but it was really new 2 me as i was doing it for the first time. I bought one GANESH idol for the pooja which turned out to be so good that my Nani(grandma) decided that it will not have a dip in the near future(वीसरजन).
SPECIAL: koraikattais ( sweet and salt ), Vadai ( sweet and salt ), Paisam (खीर) and a lot more but the main have been listed.

BACK HOME @ MUMBAI:

Now this was an another type of entertainment, not of a spiritual kind but full of fun with a little of pooja.
Back in mumbai the situation was something like this:
  1. Dance Competition
  2. Sports ( TT, Carrom and a lot more)
  3. Games ( musical chair as fas as i am concern but a lot more were there)
  4. Dinner
  5. Pooja ( in the end @ night )
BOTH are good in their grounds, if i have a choice 2 make then it would be really difficult but at this point of time i would go for the chennai type celebrations as there is a piece of mind and is not at all time consuming.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
