You crossed the limits
and you didn’t know about it because you didn’t set any limits. Now,
think over this statement for a few seconds.
Done thinking – my point is that we set limits and achieve it, sounds like a pretty fair deal but, sometimes we don’t set any limits and without realizing it we cross those limits. That said, I feel it’s better to not set any limits, by the by, don’t confuse setting goals with setting limits, they are way too different, a goal is a destination whereas a limit is an estimation (really! I just made that up ;-P, to me that sounds like Peter Druker).
This thing struck me in the gym this morning, every day I walk on the treadmill for 15 minutes, out of which I run for 10 minutes, today I just started running and I forgot to see the timer, guess what! I ran for over 20 minutes and I wasn't even tired. I did cross my limits, and voila…I am blogging it, so that you can test it for yourself.
