Going forward, it's AGILE

I belong to an office that has just identified Agile framework for it's projects, we had a superb Agile discussion along with people from different offices. Mind it! it is not a new concept, people have been using Agile framework for over 10 years now. Whoever invented it, thanks a lot, and really sorry on behalf of those who got burned out because of the agile way of working.

Scrums and sprints are the two most fabulous terms I get to hear in the meetings. Scrums are quick weekly or bi-weekly meetings where the Scrum master decides who is going to do what before the next scrum. Though, estimation is set by individuals, the scrum master delegates all the work. I feel it is a really an aggressive model to get things done, the measure is really good, you know what you got done in every one-two weeks. Sprints is what happens from one scrum to the other scrum.

Scrums are about work completion, result measurement, quick response management. I wonder if this framework does wonders to our project works at office, why should I not implement AGILE framework at home i.e AGILE for personal work to get so much of backlog homework done. All that I want is that I can measure results clearly and there is no room for excuses. What say?
