The second look
is a risk you take. The first look is very short and concise, you only scan whatever your eyes can capture in that one second, but with the second look you glean a different meaning altogether, you notice everything precisely - in a through manner, and then you make an opinion about what you just saw. In any ways, the second look is a result of the first look, its you who decides to give the second look.
If the second look makes you think that you were about to miss something so damn beautiful, then I'd say the second look made a difference and saved you from a huge loss. But, if your second look makes you think that it was a waste of time, don't worry, like I said, the second look is a risk you take.
I am sure the message is directed towards girls (for the masses ;-)), and work (for a very few). I wrote this with the intent of explaining why a second look (anywhere) can make a difference, take a risk, look at what you thought was just some work lying undone, look at that guy who just doesn't speak the right words, and look at that problem at work one more time, if you think you can make a difference, your second look was totally worth it.
