Classic about.me - Keep it short

This is a bloddy classic web startup that got acquired by AOL within a week of its inception. Why? because this is THE thing (it's not as good as facebook, twitter or groupon, but still it's classic). There are lot of guys who have a good website (like this one), and then there are guys who are really established and don't need an introduction (like this guy), but there are millions of people who just don't know how to design their ABOUT ME page for a general audience, who comes to the rescue, its About.me.

Also, about.me is not some ground breaking invention, they just spotted immense opportunity in high definition photos (yeah! just like facebook is a hang out place because it reinvented the way we share pictures online, especially the face tagging feature; you socialize more coz you are bombarded with photos and videos, it's not even socializing, it's way more than that, oh k, enough of facebook). Well, nowadays everyone has a camera, everyone has their solo pictures that kinda defines them, so these about.me guys designed a website that gives its users a superb customizable web page to show it to the online world (look at me at about.me) and to add to that, they don't let you clutter your ABOUT ME page with unwanted information, just one simple text box is all you get to describe yourself.

Go get your ABOUT.ME page. Take my suggestion, KEEP IT SHORT, not everyone is interested in you, and for those who are interested will be happy to follow the links you have provided in your page.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. If you are hiring, the best fit for you would be someone who can fit right-in without any kind of training. There are a lot of guys like that out in the market, but the challenge is that you need to find them, that explains why monster.com and naukri.com is such a big hit.
