You need to know this if you are planning to form a community

The point we were discussing: we are a group but we are not able to form a (dedicated) community; one gentlemen starts talking about the group and gives one of the most educated opinions about forming a community:
Your marketing yourself extensively, then registering yourself as a body with a board of directors is not gonna help you form a community…Unless you start doing some voluntary activities and start showing people some value…nobody will come and spend time with you (a.k.a be a part of your community) unless they don’t see value from a mile away.

So, if you are a photographer and you want to form a photographers-community in your city. First things first, voluntarily give away your talent and show people some value.

PS: This reminds me of one incident long back. I along with 8 others run a talk show in Hyderabad; we had an email thread where our team was discussing if we should call one person to our event as a speaker, I simply responded: if she can bring value to our audience, she should be in.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
