Pimp the language you use at work

Pimp the language you use in the office, and tell everyone else to follow your lead. To bring a change in the way we do our work, we need to change the way we talk about it. Let’s cut the theory crap…this is what I mean:

Say “Story”, don’t say “tasks”.
Say “bug”, don’t say “error”.
Say “Sprint”, don’t say “bi-weekly meeting”.
Say “Morning drill”, don’t say “Status meeting”.
Say “dude”, don’t say “colleague”. J (I got into trouble with this, but it’s ok, I just told that “dude” to chill)
Sat “Pimp it”, don’t say “enhance it”.

The formal language we speak at work isn’t real, it’s just too artificial…I sometimes feel like that. Pimping the language you use in the office isn’t very doable, but if you able to do it…tell me how? J
Alright then…I got a early morning meeting tomorrow to discuss critical tasks with my colleagues…gotta go ;-P

PS: I don’t suggest you use what I’ve told you to use, but I definitely suggest you change the language you speak in your team (for your team’s good).
