You are not your job
The work you do is not you and the time you spend doing it is just a result of forced liking or real liking (I wonder, why i wrote forced before real; it really tells something about me, doesn't it ;-|).
In these times, there is hardly a job where you get to do all that you want to do and avoid/get rid of all that you don't like doing (in case of a CEO, he does the former and outsources the later ;-)). So, whatever is that you do is just a job/work and has no effect on you whatsoever.

PS: If you have not seen fight club coz you thought it's about fighting, then you are way too wrong about the movie. Go watch it, if you still haven't.
