Temple- To go or not
Temples give you a good think time coz they are clean & maintain silence. But, when the temples are far off, we need to schedule our visit.It's really well said that you should go to a temple only if you are really interested and if you have belief in whoever is that you are praying.
AN INCIDENT
Morning, my father went to his office and was all set to start at 3:00pm to Srisailam which is a 4-5hr drive from Hyderabad. His colleagues did not want him to go on this weekend due to some work, But, just because everything was planned, he dint care to think of cancelling the trip. I was not at all interested as I had already seen the place. On the first place, I was not even a part of this trip as one of my uncle & aunty were joining my parents. In the last moment, that uncle (who works along with my dad) got urgent office work in Vizag and had to go the same day, because of which even aunty had to cancel.
We were all set to go, just coz there was one more space, we invited our X-driver ;-) to join us. He was all excited about it but in the final hour, he got a call from his current employer asking for him tomorrow. So, even he had to cancel.
Even then we dint cancel the trip, the three of us and our driver (current driver ;-)) started for Srisailam. Just as we crossed the airport, we realized that my mom had forgotten the hotel passes and the darshan tickets. After all this, even we dint wanna drive back 25kms, collect the tickets and start again. Finally, we cancelled the 2 day trip.
Lesson learnt: Sometimes even GOD doesn't want you to come and he gives you all kind of indications. So, if your temple visit is having problems/confusions...take my advice- CANCEL it or POSTPONE it to some other convenient date.
PS: After the trip got cancelled and we drove back home, we came to know that even our driver was not all that interested to go coz of some work at home. What are the odds ;-)
If you dont want to go to a temple today, no harm in postponing your visit to some other day. Similarly, if circumstances are not good and there are other factors hindering your visit on any particular day, It's wise to postpone your visit. BUT WHY?
