Sales & Marketing- My ego


one thing is sure about this sales & marketing job of mine: its just not my type coz all the time I do my work, I end up thinking of doing some cheating or some sort of a cheap/indecent act.

My job has got people who have good backgrounds & are absolutely nice people but then when it comes to the sensibility part, some how I feel that they lack it on a huge scale & are always driven by a single goal which the company people crave for. All of them have been entering this business just because they have not cracked elsewhere, so its the last resort for them & they have to like it & do it (of course, there are a few exceptions).

I ain't a guy from that category as far as I feel, I have been selected in WIPRO & I have the capabilities to get other white collar jobs which might not pay much but involve some brains; BTW this marketing business involves lotsa brains for closing the deal, but I am not talking about such brain usage coz this is not the time to think about making money, its the time to get into the things of my interests & pursue them for self satisfaction.

By this, I conclude that I might be the one who is being insensible here but whateverrrrrr, I just don't like this job & have to annul it..;-)..

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
