Job portals SUCKS

Job portal sucks big time, they are fed with infinite number of job openings everyday but then who exactly is getting those jobs; considering the sites which give the feeds of the current openings…What I’d wanna clarify is – who is fool proofing these openings given out in their sites coz these can just be fake/spam openings.

When I see an opening stating “WIPRO/CTS/TCS/INFOSYS is hiring freshers (software engineers)”, I just laugh at it & delete that mail immediately & at the same time I feel pity for those who apply for these jobs thinking of the unjustifiable probability of getting an interview call. There are thousands of engineers waiting for their joining dates, those who have already been giving the job offer, then how on earth are these companies hiring more and more people without them to have consumed the already hired junta. There is no way they are hiring, so its waste applying for these jobs as its all spammer posting these openings.

Fact of the matter

1. Freshers require legitimate job portals which has everything to do with current openings & nothing to do with the site business.
2. Portals should ban these so called employers (the agencies) which feed fake/spam openings in their site. They should be tracked by some means.
3. The companies should give out its openings to only a few good sites, which is good for both the employers & us the employees (job seekers).
4. If the biggies (i.e. a software giant or any other big time recruiters) has stopped their recruitment process, its good to inform in their own sites & the job portals i.e. not necessarily for all the posts but for the fresher posts whom they hire in plenty.

PS: Posting fake job & sending spam openings is so lame, it’s just a way to generate traffic & disappoint people by giving no responses to the jobs they apply.
