Addicted to doing everything myself
I know, that sounds like an answer to an interview question - "Name one of your weakness", coz usually when people are asked this question, they say something that sounds like a strength to an employer. (I have given interviews! I had been an amateur and I had acted the way everyone told me to (silly!) - so I know what they say, when they say whatever is that they say in an interview ;-P).
I find myself really addicted to doing everything myself and it's just not helping me that much. I think this is a weakness for an employee and the employer...people in teams, especially leaders in the team (by attitude not designation) should encourage people to do things however easily and most effectively it's possible. The point I want to stress on is that - you are not expected to do everything yourself, ASK for help.
It might sound cocky, but it is something that you can recite everyday morning before starting work: I am not here to finish the work myself, I am here to finish the work SOMEHOW in the best possible way.
