If everything is appreciated
It doesn't look authentic and we just cant digest the fact that all that we said was extra ordinary. So, if you keep getting "that's really good", "that's great" or "Sounds great" for almost everything u say, then rest assured, you think you sucked big time (unless its a sales call ;-)).
What it means? We are not comfortable being accepted and appreciated throughout; our mind really requires some resistance from the other end and that's what makes us comfortable. A clear cut talk/process with no ifs, buts, In my opinions, Instead ofs is something we are not used to, and this is why we don't feel correct about everything going smooth without any hiccups/troubles.
MY POINT? Why don't we (some of us) blindly trust our words? why are we not comfortable being accepted/appreciated throughout? Is it because, we don't deserve it or do we resist the best case scenario, just like we resist the worst case scenario.
PS: At least I am not like that ;-), my friend once told me that "Modesty is thou ******* Name" and I must say, its true to the core coz whenever someone appreciates me, I accept it with pride and consider it genuine (even if the talker is just fake talking).
