Me a wannabe "Jimi Hendrix"

whats keeping me busy these days???...my first guitar which consumes most of my time these days (apart from work). I am so so in love with this guitar that I've already started playing some good song covers.Its coming naturally to these big big fingers of mine, one big advantage to me as it diminishes some part of the strain in my arm. But I don't have giant fingers, so still long hours of playing hurts.

My Planned guitar journey
  • I am not gonna go for any guitar classes- that ain't happening coz I dint take up this instrument for getting a certificate or passing some levels in it. Its just n just for the sake of enjoyment & nothing more than that, perhaps someday if I get great at it then I'd start my own band (thinking big!!)
  • Doing what I like- I like karaoke which is why guitar is the best instrument (piano is a close second), I can take it with me; just play on & sing along. I just love singing, apart from me sounding pathetic in some of the tracks (I stress on "SOME" of the tracks, usually I sound good)...pretty thick voice for English tracks but Hindi seems a little no no.
  • Keeps me occupied, a real stress buster- instead of watching the shit boxxxx..I mean the idiot box (T.V), I can do something which is a little productive like playing an instrument or playing a game...that's a good time pass as it a stress buster in a way coz we forget about our work & other tense inducing agents in day 2 day life.
  • Impress a few chicks- girls like sweet guys, I seriously am not a sweet guy coz I sound pretty sour, sooooooooo I think this would take me to a comfort zone & make me a little impressive in front of them...BTW I dint take up guitar for impressing chicks, this is something which is an added advantage.

PS: Jimmy Hendrix & Slash & Kirk Hammett & Jimmy Page are the GODS of GUITAR...so I bow down to you guys before starting my guitar journey...bless me with those guitar playing hands.
PS: For some guitar facts- It costs Rs 2350/-...kinda cheap coz YAMAHA guitar starts from 8.5K, let me learn it & then buy an electric guitar to play like a pro.
PS: I learned chords for "hey there Delilah" & "when you say nothing at all"...& now I am struggling with "every breath you take" & "nothing else matter".

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
