First week @ Trendyworks

So, finally back to employment!! feels good & hope to continue working till some other unexpected thing happens.

First day @ work was very unlike first working days wherein the guy gets confused with the way of operations, but in my case I was damn chill with the front office there: got nothing to do & absolutely nothing for time pass..just passing time somehow. Later in the evening, Mr Neeraj & Mr Gattu came & then we had a small 1hr session on the company & its ongoings.

Then after that, I've been taking my own material to office coz I somehow feel that our bosses are very busy for a reason & can only give short span trainings, So till they come to the new office; I can go on with my general reading stuff.

Our front office girls is one sheer sight, I am spending most of my time with them & its good to be with the aviation (frankfinn background) females. Namely: Madhavi, Shweta & Soujanya. Lots to talk about them (its all in my diary..;-)).

Other than that, professionalism (not just the philosophy but the work as such) is still to be introduced coz the role which I am playing (tech trainer) is nowhere to be seen & that may be because I am still a trainee there. Other than that, the communication channel is very diluted & we are still to get acquainted with the office operations & people. Our roles need to be clearly specified before we get started. Lotsa things are different & hopefully more new things are to come my way. Gotta give my best in whatever I do there. Office should benefit from me instead of me benefiting from it.

wishing myself "good luck" @ trendyworks...I'd like to see myself doing some good work in the office. Lets c what happens!!

PS: What have I been cooking: Web entrepreneur program presentation, FAQ's, front office work, inviting/greeting lecturers to our presentation, some kitchen work, watching finding nemo (3 times back to back...lolz), working on a Sunday & having a good office lunch post presentation.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
