In the year 2008

This year was so damn eventful, I just cant jot down each & every event but the primary once have been taken from my diary to make the list. Superb year- it had lotsa of free time, lotsa interviews, final year engineering & my job, my Hyderabad stay...what can I say - "I yam loving it".

BTW the events are not in the order (i.e. not from Jan to Dec)

1)      Happy new year (2007) @ Madras boat club with Paddu & Banna

2)      Watching Naruto all day (finished 150+ episodes in a weeks time)

3)      Learnt Movie downloads using Torrents- around 300 movies viewed + 100 times the dark knight alone

4)      Harish weds Pooja, Family gathering & lotsa trips

5)      Accent e technologies- Final year project work

6)      Amazing results- Engineering finished (87.1)

7)      Black days- things which shouldn't have happened (;-()

8)      Paddu’s engagement

9)      Roadies season 5.0, Ashu wins

10)  Hyderabad house arrest- full day no outing, just @ home doing nothing

11)  Prep for CAT-08, good but not enough coz in the last moment I lost it

12)  Shriya- my akka’s daughter, a newbie to the family

13)  Manoj & I - Hyderabad trip

14)  First time- Got admitted for a Viral fever (mercury rose to 101.8)

15)  Miyapur house- my father’s new investment

16)  Lotsa interviews- BPO’s to IT’s to Management companies

17)  Gym exercise- 3 months of pumping iron

18)  Ajju Ma @ IIM-Lucknow- seriously happy 4 him

19)  Morning walks @ KBR park with my Dad

20)  Dieting- a few weeks of drama

21)  IPL matches & the catchy advertisements

22)  Lotsa fights with mom- generation gap (whatever happens, I stick 2 my grounds)

23)  Hyderabad->Bangalore->Bombay->Hyderabad trip (2 much fun)

24)  Lotsa reading- personality development & self improvement

25)  New mobile phone- Nokia xpressmusic 5610

26)  Wipro joining delayed by 3 months & still no news (post 3 months)

27)  Mom appeared for b-ed entrance while dad was in Australia

28)  Hyderabad darshan- 2-3 times with different friends

29)  Playing beach football in Chennai & also lotsa football in Hyderabad

30)  Indians are bombed- Maharashtra riots, serial bomb blasts & Mumbai Taj massacre

31)  Posting CV’s to the companies through the job portals (monster & naukri)- I am so fucking tired of this recession

32)  Working as a Marketing executive in COBRA GROUP- VISION (just a 3week affair)

33)  Playing FLASH/ 3 carder gamboling game- lotsa money lost but all in the family

34)  Wannabe JIMMY HENDRIX- bought a new guitar & I am dong gr8 with it

35)  Work @ Trendyworks Technologies as a Tech Trainer- Amazing free time, Superb females (fun 2 be with) & of course easy work

36)  Wrapping the year’s content with its learning’s & wanting to start with a blast…2009 I am coming!! 


PS: cant ask for anything more, just want the 2009 to be as good as or better than this year. Superb superb year apart from the Terrorism massacres.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
