My 10 Day trip

B'lore & B'bay OUTING

Finally, M back home and have full access to the cruising internet which compels me to do my writing. Not that happy to reach home coz the trip was 2 good but felt like spending some more time in there but then everybody has a job ,so no issues.

It was a very eventful trip and I have a lot to take in as a memoir of the trip which I would jot down in MY WAY..;-P.So now I would be Summing up the whole journey.

BANGALORE was the first pit stop
  1. Collected some 10kgs of CAT/GMAT material from Ajju..;-), hope I find myself in some good institute when its time for me 2 do my Post Graduation.Thats me(reading) and Ajju in the pic
  2. Planet M was the meeting point for the three of us (Rohit, Sayak & me)
  3. KFC Lunch with Rohit & Sayak
  4. Down Town Pub, we entered in happy hours and had 2 pitchers of Kingfisher beer & a Vodka shot (BTW not me, they had..sigh), were chit chatting all the time- the topics our chat includes the stupid worthless advertisement, GRE and CAT institutes & God (Sathya Sai baba mainly!!) true existence/potential, etc etc.
  5. Sarkar Raj- Night show @ 9:30pm in a nearby theater with Athimber, Attai, Ajju & Mom, not all that good but I liked the way it has been directed and the star cast was another reason for the movie's success.
  6. Sathya Sai Baba Darshan @ White Field which was quite a far off place, but got the darshan by 6:00pm. On the way we went to Pravin Bhaiya's house & one of my mom's mumbaiya friends place. Then went for a good restaurant for a nice South Indian style dinner
  7. Lunch @ MTR (Mavalli Tiffin Rooms)- too good 2 resist, loved each and every dish served and the cost was unarguably nominal i.e. Rs 110/- per person. But the 1Hr wait time killed me and is the only turn off part of the place, but when we get a token to sit in the first round; things seemed as if its worth the wait.
  8. ISKCON temple- This was very nearby and all of us really enjoyed the temple and its ambience, This was truly a place where in people would want to shell out Rs 100 for their visit coz the amenities over there are simple world class i.e. be it parking, maintenance, lighting systems, prasad...everything was tiptop...loved it and its a must go place @ Bangalore.
  9. Sathyanarayan Pooja- I m not sure of what the pooja was called but it was a long one, morning session went on from 6:00am to 8:30am and then evening was a get together for another 4Hr session which was full of shlokas & mainly the colorful flowers. BTW India Vs Pakistan was really boring as India won hands down.;-) Ajju & Me sitting on the deevan, Attimber and Attai are sitting down doing the pooja
BOMBAY it is!!!
  1. Met SHRIYA kutti for the first time @ Akka's place. She's just 2months old and sleeps all day, not to forget I also had fun with SMRITI kutti- played some board games, played Tabla and piano. Left to Right- Smriti, My Mom & the 2 month old SHRIYA
  2. GORAI BEACH- This trip was planned and was really a good entertainment. I went out with 2 of my school friends Albert and Praveen. Started from powai then reached pravin's house in malad east then from there we headed to gorai bus stand. Reached the sea front & took a Rs 5/- ferry and went on a Horse ride till the exact gorai beach location. The water was all black and brown which utterly destroyed my plans of having a good beach bath. WHAT WE SAW THERE-- people having sex on the beach, people kissing on the beach, and not 2 forget the made for pleasure (sex) lodges facing the front. I got really pissed with the type of crowd there, its not something which would come under the family outing category. The most cheapest things happen there...Please do not go 2 such places...;-). But with the two of my friends, we had long long chats which was fun. Came back home by 10pm.
  3. Met Karthik and Sanoj, my school friends- @ IIT lake side, they had a smoke and then went on chatting about different things, finally came out of the campus and had hot hot VADA PAV'S in the torrential rains which nearly blew the top cover (celling) of the stalls.
  4. Planet M & KFC dinner with Harish, Pooja & Mom in Hiranandani. Had a tub of 8 chickens which was so damn filling.
  5. HAKONE Cricket- this was something which was fun, played 3 overs of medium pace bowling and scored 28 runs which is relatively bad as pooja & harish had scored 45+ when they had played back in time.
  6. MOCHA dinner- This was huge, my mom dint come in the end so we had no restrictions over anything..;-P. let me put it in a perplexing manner- some people over there had hookah (apple flavor), Shakes (tobleron, rocher ferror) & some raspberry drink & Tiger beer (2 Nos) & for the eateries they ordered mutton dish, some egg dish & maggie cup out of which nearly 80% was wasted. We were just spectators looking @ them (sigh). Our bill soared as high as Rs 1085/- but not a probs as the two with me were quite accustomed in shelling out money (unlike me)

PS: It was a real good deal as this trip has successfully broken my jinx of joblessness, bloody wipro is talking so long 2 call me, its already been 2 straight month (almost).
PS: I collected almost around 10Kgs of CAT material from my IIM-L selected cousin Ajay which is so vast that It would take a year of hardwork 2 exhaust it.
PS: Have done a lot of exploring - places, people & lifestyles
PS: my brother is such a joker, still his habit of mocking things hasn't gone. But I feel its for the good coz Mom, Pooja & me (at times) were uncontrollably laughing on his silly comments/jokes. He is the best candidate to be sent for laughter challenge from our family..;-P
PS: Had been chatting a lot through out this trip (more than ever)- Ajay was totally into dispensing gyan about a range of topics- IIM, CAT struggle and all the Wipro essentials & off course the general family talks...Most of all, I had been engaged in chatting with Pooja which included the gamut of emotions over job, family, MBA & a lot other things which are not coming to mind now, BTW shez the only soul who takes in a good amount of effort to read my blogs (if ur reading this, I must say it was a gr8 chat and we still have gtalk to get in touch ;-))
PS: I just love flying- Airplanes are the ones which totally fascinate me and I always dye to experience takeoff and landing like small kids do and get totally charged when the plane drops to make a clean landing (the best feeling of flying).

K that was it...loved each and every single day of it...Kudos to the trip and the experiences...tata
