What all can YOU do
Here the YOU in the title refers to most of us (not exclusively me), considering that all you out there have as easy life as I do but have a doubt weather such a lifestyle is advisable or not. I've come up with a list of things (some might be relevant 2 YOU too)
- Be frequent on outings, in and around you're city (I've circled a lot of places for the coming months, I sure am going to go and have fun. Sitting & relaxing at home has itself become boring)
- Play an instrument (Guitar it is, I do and will continue playing)
- Go for a stroll, not morning/evening walks but just a stroll (terrace in my case coz I stay on the top floor..its really a good time pass to breath in some fresh air & just have clouds to see)
- Photography (that's a personal interest)
- Painting (Oh K, I ain't being kiddish but I do great in Macromedia flash with its brush smoothing capabilities)
- Writing good marketable articles (All those who love writing should market it coz its pretty much an asset)
- Join badminton/table tennis/Gym (these are some fun/enjoyable exercise programs, more for health than the game itself)
- Develop on a business venture (entrepreneurial skills are instill, we just have to get it out)
- Call your friends (its cool to talk to the friends who you have lost touch with, of course once in a while)
- Study/prepare for an entrance exam (c'mon, education is you're birth right, I've never got anything out of merit...now is the time)
- Give up Television (man, its a worst ever addiction...much worse than smoking & drinking ;-) coz they kill us eventually, but TV doesn't even kill us nor leave us)
- Associate everyday with some inspirational stuff (be it audio books or some big shot's videos)
- Learn cooking (So what, if your a guy...times have changed, you gotta do it means you gotta do it)
- Learn the vernacular (Telgu for me, its cool to learn a new language altogether)
Now that I've listed the things above, it so unlike me. I never do such things, its just that I dint play Holi today (actually, there's no one to play with) and I am pissed with myself for the continuous TV viewing. Good to read but very tough to implement a.k.a easier said than done.
