Everyone likes poverty & Injustice

Finally, India on the rocks. I had this post in my mind since the SLUMDOG SUCCESS but due to some reasons it got delayed.

We won the OSCARS, actually the slum lifestyle won it for us. Why do such movies from India do so good globally, that's because they have the true Indian essence to it. Its quiet obvious but still I'd mention that the Indian essence is shear poverty & injustice. If you have noticed movies like
  1. Water
  2. Earth
  3. Laagan
  4. Slumdog Millionaire
  5. Gandhi
do great at the box office but have not been a hit in the Indian film industry nor with the Indian audience, that's coz these movies project our lifestyle, we get to see these things day after day (Its a routine hence not enjoyable). But the foreigners are stunned to witness something so inhuman still present in countries like India. So, they are prone to appreciate & enjoy the movie.

As a matter of fact, even Indians appreciate & enjoy things in the line Poverty & Injustice. How exactly? In India the most talked about shows are
  1. Balika Vadhu
  2. Kyuki Saans bhi kabhi bahu thi
  3. Utaran etc.


Now, its not that I see all these shows which I listed out. I actually see these things running everywhere I go. It might be a great concept but it's all about injustice & poverty; So, its a big hit...I think there is no point in stretching and proving my point further...good morning

PS: BTW, I don't fall in the category which enjoys poverty & injustice. But at the same times without a doubt SLUMDOG was superb

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages. If you are hiring, the best fit for you would be someone who can fit right-in without any kind of training. There are a lot of guys like that out in the market, but the challenge is that you need to find them, that explains why monster.com and naukri.com is such a big hit.
