Senior Citizen etiquettes

Beware: all those looking for an interesting read, back off...coz its one ethic of life which u might find boring.

Its a felling of deja-vu which stuck me head on!! when I saw my friends grandma who has come home for a 5 day stay. She's pushing 85 & is totally dependent on her daughter, everything is done by her daughter who herself is around 55yrs old (literally, hats off 2 her commitment as she makes it seem effortless).

Changing thoughts

Before I always thought its cool if I get to live 100+ years but then now I feel that a life which doesn't allow me to do (absolutely) anything is as good as not living at all. But then again, pushing 100 with a mediocre health is what is desirable & most likely to happen with me..;-)LOL..

Remembering my very own Grandfather
  1. Mr. Hariharan is really a man who lived the best of his life & did all that he wanted to do, he was spiritually driven & ate good food & had great sleep till his last gasp.
  2. When I was wrong- He always wanted someone to accompany him to toilet & to the hall etc, all the time I pulled him and made him walk fast & most of all, I never ever cared of how much pain he is been through. Secondly, there was never a time when I helped him, instead I made things worse for him by not doing certain things.
  3. Not done purposely- I was so kiddish back then, I never thought of pain & old age etc etc, these things were realized only after he's gone.

Better late than never
  • They are fragile- handle with care
  • Prioritize them coz they require quick service for a short period of time
  • Its all karma- you be good to them, you would be good when your (like) them.
  • I swear to god- nothing is nasty or bad, its something which is ought to be done
  • Old age ain't curse if the assistance is proper

PS: I really have 2 much respect for senior citizens after I saw her (grandma's) present state. The respect levels have gone soaring high.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages. If you are hiring, the best fit for you would be someone who can fit right-in without any kind of training.
