Google Job opening (ad)

This has nothing 2 do with how to crack the Google interview (& if @ all any of u out there know the tact, do tell me ;-)). Its about the ASCENT supplement of Times of India, Hyderabad which had the Google job opening column in it, which was quite stunning & of course very mind boggling.
Google recruits the best candidates for the job & there is a lot of part to be played by the profile of the applicant. But applicants cant be random for such openings right!!, there has to be an eligibility & certain parameters which are required to be fulfilled. All this has to done before the person is called for an interview or even to apply, right!!!
hell wrong!! over here, Google has bluntly given a big column consuming 1/2 the page without any of the above i.e. eligibility or parameters from an applicant. So it means any one can apply.

Run 4 it!! Google is recruiting ;-D ..hurray

PS: its interesting to see how they are gonna shortlist candidates over a phone call coz for this ad around thousand of applicants must have applied (me being one of them!!;-)).
PS: Are they really gonna call each and every one or is it just an ad which generates traffic in the given number there (some kinda Virgin Mobile creative Idea..just kidding;-))
PS: BTW they were good enough HR people to send a computer generated message to me just after I sent them my name to the given number.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages. The candidate you want to hire

If you are hiring, the best fit for you would be someone who can fit right-in without any kind of training. There are a lot of guys like that out in the market, but the challenge is that you need to find them, that explains why monster.com and naukri.com is such a big hit.
