Project Review 1
it was quite a smooth review w.r.t to my utterly lame thinking. It was just as i wanted "hassle free".;-). No pains at all, the plus point was that i got 2 meet all my friends after a month and a half.
My Guide: Mr. Laxmanan
About: I really like the way he scrutinizes and i also really respect him for remembering my topic which i submitted 2 him 3 months back, that was really nice of him(i like it).
The day as it was:
I got up @ 5:45am and just took a quick check on the download status on my PC (as usual), then i did all my preliminary things (brush bath shit etc etc..) and headed for the college bus @ 6:30am, reached the college at 7:30am and felt good as it was around one and half month break.
Ready for the first review, met all my classmates and with no prior preparation for the review went for it. At 8:30am just planned 2 meet my guide regarding the review.
Me: when 2 give the review sir?
Sir: first get the sign from ur internal guide, actually u should get it b4 the review!!!
Me:told him regarding yesterday's visit and his absence (good enough for a reply)
Sir: Do u have the hard copy? and the grade sheet?
Me: yes sir!!( tool it from my bag, then i was a bit confused with the spelling of my guide, so while he was talking with some other girl nearby i could glance @ his ID card and get the correct spelling).....BINGO!!
Sir: how far have u completed? what s/w cycle have u used? y have u used this and not others? Is the ticket same as token???
Me: yes sir the working is the same but the ticket has more parameters and functions 2 manipulate.
Sir: oh k!! ( was impressed with the way i answered..clearly seen by expression and his tone)
Sir: then he wrote some comments ( PPT, test case, model and started analysis ) on the grade sheet and gave me a A++.[;-)]
then just came down and was waiting for the other phase of the review which was "the Project Committee ", i went to PRAVIN sir for this and was asked 2 sit in ARUL sir's pannel, sat there for a while and then suddenly it struck me that it would go tough in his panel, by disguise i saw PRASHANT who had the same guide as me and he told me that LAXMAN sir was in the panel too.
IDEA: our internal guide and project committee panel was LAXMAN sir and we were given grades on the internal guide review itself (unlike others) so, we just asked PRAVIN sir regarding this and he told us to submit our HARDCOPY to our internal guide and gooooooooo.
DONE DONE DONE!!!!!!!
PS: the next review is on Feb 2nd-08.
PS 1: most probs i would have finished my project by then and would be ready for a clear explanation for retaining this grade.
PS 2: My brothers weeding is coming up and very luckily its not clashing with my project work nor the review.
