Madurai Trip

Finally i m back 2 my den and i can have a summary for the trip. I was out to Madurai for my anna's (Cousin brother's) weeding and it was a 4 day trip (20 to 24 oct 07), have a lot of activities to be listed for my post and would write all the minor 2 major experiences.

JOURNEY
  • Started from chennai @ night 9:30pm "Pandian Express" to Madurai and reached somewhere around 6:00am, Ravi mama was there to receive us in the railway station, took an auto and reached home.
  • "Ganga Attai Pati" is really a gift to our family with a 101% undiluted affection. I mean it, coz i could really make out from my parents and myself by their behavior towards everyone. The house also comprises of KUMAR mama and RAVI mama who are really really helpful and caring towards the guests(us). We also visited Pullayar kovil in the morning.
  • Went to MADURAI MEENAKSHI TEMPLE which is a must considering any Bhramins visiting the place, its a very sacred place which is highly renowned through out the country and has a lot of profound theories and stories for different Gods present in it. It was jam packed on the day we went as it was NAVRATRI at that time of the year (21 oct 07), so we were pained a bit with the crowed apart from us having a special entry (Rs 15) for the darshanam, then LAXMI attai came home for the same marriage function.
  • 22 oct 07, all of them came 2 meet us i.e. Ramachandran and Sundar anna, Ganesha mama's family. Then we went to Thipurakondram temple(i guess!!), there me and ganesha mama did a lot of trekking to reach the temple on top of the hill(it was 650*2 steps).
  • The day after that was the reception kinda function, full of pooja but not that glamor n all..morning was pooja and evening its was some give n take ceremony (again pooja sort), Ramachandran was wearing court suite and the bride was in saree as always, ate our dinner and went and slept for tomorrow's grand function i.e. the actual marriage.;-), In the afternoon me and my dad went for a movie which we could not handle for more than an hour; so we returned after the interval.
  • Got up at around 4:00am and then dressed for the weeding, then saw all the rituals and finally it was time for "TALLI";-), then after that we had our breakfast and all chit chatting went on through out the weeding, after the lunch we headed back to our house i.e. our attai patti's house.
  • @ 8:45pm we started by the same train Pandian Express to chennai and reached @ 5:30am in the morning.
  • Then from Tambaram->Trisulam->Airport(dropped my dad with his luggage to HYD)->Back to Trisulam->Kodambakam->Alwarthirunagar->Back 2 my nani's place.

  1. Madurai Menakshi Temple(2 times)
  2. Pullayar kovil (near by)
  3. J.B. Choudarie's badam milk shop- famous for 1 meter paal(milk).
  4. Thiruporakondram temple and malai
  5. Marriage hall (M.R.Mahal)
  6. Theater to watch "MALAIKOTTAI"-bad bad bad response
  7. Success Point browsing center near the mandapam
  8. M.R.Mahal Kalyana Mandapam

PS:It was a gr8 trip and i m really looking forward to go some time in the near future i.e. next year as i have a "wish" which would most likely come true and i have taken an oath (sort of);-).TC

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day.
