Technology is a bitch! this guy is gonna lose his job

Technology is a bitch! that's what these two guys in the picture would say when they lose their job. The point is, overtime, their job role will change. The world will still have banners, but they will all be digital. Actually in most developed countries, banners are already digitized. Technology doesn't make our jobs irrelevant (at least, most of the times), instead, it changes our job role and demands a change of skill set.

There is another point. Technology doesn't just take away your job, sometimes it will demand you to rapidly improve on your skill set (almost like overnight). Just think about iPad. iPad is a bitch! all IT (Information Technology)  companies have to build applications for an iPad or else they become irrelevant. Guess what! iPad is just 3 years old and the whole technology industry is literally peeing its pants coz it doesn't want to be irrelevant because of this new device.

Anyways, it's not just their (the guys in the picture) job. Your job could be on fire (or may be, it already is). Just look at what you are doing and think how will technology come into picture and take away your job.

So where were we! yes, technology is a bitch, it really is!

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. If you are hiring, the best fit for you would be someone who can fit right-in without any kind of training. There are a lot of guys like that out in the market, but the challenge is that you need to find them, that explains why monster.com and naukri.com is such a big hit.
