Life(style) on Petrol

I am fighting global warming with my TATA NANO ;-D, the car gives a bike-like mileage (around 20 km/litre with AC running) and I don't spend more than Rs 3500/month on petrol. Petrol prices hit every part of our lifestyle and that's exactly why I say "Life(style) on Petrol".


Life(style) really runs on petrol, even if you don't use a vehicle
  • Your veggies & fruits become costlier (they say "petrol price rise, the goods come from XYZ place and transportation costs have gone high", without a doubt, you pay more for your veggies and fruits.
  • Manufacturing companies raise their product cost- Cement company runs plants to produce tons of cement which in turn, uses petrol for running its machinery. Not everything runs on electricity ;-), So, there is a price rise in virtually every product which we need to support our lifestyle.
Say, tomorrow the petrol prices go down, these guys are not gonna reduce their product costs, that's coz they have raised our standards to see a piece of cloth worth Rs 200 to look like Rs 2000. The next time anyone brags about his Ralf Lauren or Van Heusen clothing, give him a finger ;-D and make him realize its not worth even 30 percent of what they paid.

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day.
