Dont be a stereotype
For the unequipped: stereotype is a conventional way of doing certain stuff
Some of the stereotypical people really make it big coz that's how certain things are done. Whatever humans do is stereotypical in nature, its just that we are programmed to follow the same path as others who have been in the same situation before in time. Nevertheless, there is no guarantee that whatever others did is the optimal way of doing it; without having any knowledge of its optimality, we just follow the same thing blindly (duh!!...something wrong with us).
We should behave like stereotypes where we have clear cut results following that certain way of doing things and we know there is nothing wrong in emulating it (that's a win-win situation) but getting stereotypical in situations where we can give our own inputs is like killing our creativity for no reason (strictly rule this out).
Whatever it takes & wherever you step in
- Lets get to the work afresh & not derive inferences from the past
- If you can add your perception to it, don't step back...its required to be done
- If repetitive failures with your perception, accept your way of doing it sucked & go with the stereotype stuff (stereotyping is the last resort)
- Remember, you are at your best when you are yourself (Am I trying to optimize for YOU here..;-))
- Concoct- be inventive with things. What are the odds you might end up being one of Einstein or Edison...cool han!!
PS: lots of people out there are like me : "its my way or the highway" (someone once told me, its really bad for a long run & you would suffer such an attitude)...so be it, as if I ain't suffering now..lolz
PS: It's not something which I just realized, I have already written a few articles on this with different titles...you might wanna check: Everyone does it mentality, I am doing great .
PS: me always being the unexpected... a guy like me never does good at school, but why?? coz the system is stereotypical in nature...clearly, not my problem (blaming other is not my thing, its what cowards do...I accept it's my problem). I was so pissed with the class topper stuff that i wrote one article on that: 1st in the class- bull factor.
