Entrance Exams- WTF factor
Finally, some food for thought... Entrance exam are really the key to the premier institutes i.e be it CAT/GMAT or JEE or AIEEE blah blah blah, all are insanely competitive but thats not the point which has made me write this post, its the candidates who really suffer because of these entrance exams (sigh!!) is the limelight of the post.

Candidates who write these entrance exams should be aware of what is in store for them, I would place this as the stepping stone to any competitive exam prep coz most of us i.e. almost 80% of the people who I know fall into the "abrupt information holder" category. The best way to fight this is to glean as much as possible from the present suffering batch of the college/university ( they have the exact perception)... listening to the alumni or the staff of the institute or any other person who is remotely associated with it is a perfect ingredient for a later disappointment.
Many of the candidates fear the populous crowd who are appearing for the exam and evaluate that with the toughness or competitiveness of the junta appearing for the exam... This is an absolute rotten shit analysis, never fear the crowd coz most of them appear because of parental pressure and some write for the sake of appearing for it...These type of candidates are majority in numbers, so it would be wrong to include such students in competition. A candidate must not fear the junta appearing for the exam coz most amongst the junta is highly noncompetitive.
There may be indefinite reasons to detest the above two points but what the heck!!!....there is no point is fussing with what is experienced by most of the candidates.
Summing up, what really the entrance exams competitiveness is mistaken with:
P.S: I was highly uncompetitive in my 12th grade, appeared for entrance just because everyone else was appearing, had no idea of what to do after 12th... so if at all I wrote those exams, I was not at all a threat to others truly appearing for it.
P.S: These entrance exams require a pinch of LUCK....without it there is nothing which could work on our favor........but thats not something which comes in handy but would follow if its meant to be.

POINT 2 B NOTED

Summing up, what really the entrance exams competitiveness is mistaken with:
- Candidates under "parental pressure"
- Candidates not willing 2 write, they write just bcoz everyone else is writing (like me ;-))
- Candidates who have absolutely "NO" preparation
- Capable candidates appearing half-heartedly
