HARISH weds POOJA

Done with the wedding, i yam back 2 my den (chennai). I can go on writing post after post, if i start in brief about the wedding ceremony, No time for all that ; so I would jot down some high prospects of the marriage and my Mumbaiya & pune Visit.

THE BIG FAT RAJASTHANI/TAMIL WEDDING

Pooja & Harish on the 27th during Muhurtham...BTW Harish is performing some ritual, he is not adjusting his specs nor he has any pain in his head, just coz the visuals can be mistaken!!!!;-)

• 21st of Jan- Reached @ 4:15pm, Harish came to pic us @ the Airport, then the usual time pass @ home and @ night we had our dinner in the revamped LAXMI HOTEL (good food and relatively good ambiance), B4 going for dinner, I met all my friends and saw the intriguing expression on their face (conferring to the change in my looks;-))
  
• 22nd of Jan- Home sweet Home (not mine, its for the newly married couple), did some arrangements and then it was welcoming RAMA chitti in B'BAY, opened the DIGICAM which she bought for Harish and started shooting but then as it was really late 4 sleep, had to close it for rising early in the morning.
• 23rd of Jan- Again some house hold work, BTW my legacy still remains; i won in TT with everyone, ripping them under 10;-), Night- We went to NIRMAL LIFESTYLES; there we did some shopping in FAB INDIA & SHOPPERITE and then headed to RAJDHANI for a rajasthani thalli.
• 24th of Jan- morning i went for a faceglow service with KAYA CLINIC, then i went to SANOJ's house; met him and we went out for a smoke (not me,just him); there I met three guys Aniket,Abba & Mr.ForgotTheName; they all were high on drugs->mainly charas and ganja, was stunned to see my friend doing it, then came home and the same old wedding talks and bullshit
• 25th of Jan- Mangali Pondugal...its some sort of a ritual where we(the host) give gifts to our relative (attais, chittis, my cousin sister etc), then it was DANCE FUNCTION... where in i lifted all my chittis and had fun dancing 2 some arbit tune being played in the FM, then it was pooja's parents arrival for the FORMAL INVITATION for SANGEET...only females were allowed for the functions (P.S- Aunty had personally told me to come for the functions;-))
• 26th of Jan- gruha Pravesh, Nichyadartham, Dance @ Planet M Atrium (4 around 15min), Reception (cant explain but being a little concise i feel it went gr8 and no shortcomings in any ritual in the ceremony)
• 27th of Jan- Muhurtham 9amto10am, Finally marriage finished and then in the eveneing SATHYANARAYAN POOJA, then @ night RECEPTION @ Blue Fields Terrace (had called Karthik and Karthik Karuna, also met siddharth and saikiran)
• 28th of Jan- Really boring, did nothing apart from sitting idle and watching TV, Night- Bye Bye RAMA chitti ( she is flying 2 US)
• 29th of Jan- Heading to Pune @ pooja's residence to attend a reception in their colony, Lunch at a nearby place- Sangeeta (i think so!!!), night- Reception and dinner, then slept tight with cough in my throat.
• 30th of Jan- Dad-Mom, Harish-Pooja headed to Mumbai @ around 11am and then for 2 hrs i watched something in their TV and ate a very nice Lunch (northy style), then caught a flight to chennai and reached home @ 6pm.

So, overall the visit was quite winsome and had a lot of fun in b'bay. Main thing was the weeding then the meeting point of all those people who I had not seen for years. But then some part was really really annoying i.e. traveling, tradition and last but the most "work load"...;-D

P.S- kinda hectic, as in work was 2 much..but namba crowd was quite cooperative.
