Competition - Being in the wrong competition with the wrong talent

In a competitive environment, someone has to lose, that's how things really are. Overall, there are many competitions that we've been a part of and have done miserably; on a short enough timeline, the confidence level of the guy who did well in the competition is way above that of ours, but, on a long enough timeline, the results from that competition become invalid.

The main purpose of competition is to segregate (that's a no brainer) and then allocate a premium opportunity to one and a not-so-premium opportunity to the other...which is fair coz premium service will not remain premium if it is available to everyone. In the education system we have, the segregation process is very ineffective coz it only accounts for scores and nothing other than that.This isn't a real competition because a lot of us were pushed in the competition, and some of us did not even compete, and some of us were already better than the rest.

The real competition that I see is in Wimbledon (Federrer and Nadal), World Cup (India and Pakistan),  or Companies (Apple and Microsoft)...this is because all the guys in this competition has the following in common: *All the competitors have the same talent and want the same thing out of their talent*. What I am coming at is that "Most of the competitions we are in involves different talent requirements, and "Winning from or losing to someone in the competition is most probably a result of being in the wrong competition with the wrong talent" .

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
