WISE talk

Into immense brain storming and self-realization, there is always this one thing which you need to know the most and that's the one thing which is inherent but undiscovered. We just gotta scoop it out through some serious thinking. For all the souls who know me, know that I'm desperately seeking out a thing for over 5-6 months and now, after such a chase, I find myself in the correct path, doing the correct things; the only thing which will put an end to this chase is the result.

Sometimes the destination is not as important as the amount of travel which took to reach there (ref: my chase and the thing I'm seeking)

A CEO from an IT company (SME) told one thing bluntly after I was dripping with enthusiasm in my talks about WHAT I WANT?...the guy simply said:

• Your interested in doing that but people should be interested in paying you for that
• I am very convinced that, guys of your age don’t know what they actually want, it's normal, I was just like you
• Never bottleneck your interests, don’t say “I am only interested in….”, you actually need to research and spend quality time (in years) to finalize the spree of things you see yourself doing or what you are good at
• You need to justify the result/situation which you encountered in the past i.e in case of failure and success; mainly failure coz all success stories have the same content

An editor from a very popular newspaper was giving his time to find me some freelancing opportunities and advice on a track in writing, I am a guy who capitalizes on opportunities, and So, I was just pushing him too hard. He simply messaged 

• Just be patient, sometimes that’s the thing which teaches you more than anything else
• Hold on to your interests and never curse all that you have, but, just don’t stop the search

Last weekend was a hellofa brainstorming session with guys from a major online company, Managers & HR in their Velachery, Chennai office. 

• Prove all that you write in your CV, not just by the certificates you hold but in real-time practice
• Know what’s the one track you need to take coz that’s the thing which should match with the profile we are looking for
• How will you tackle this situation now? it's more than sufficient for us to understand your future moves on something similar
• Experiment your thinking and pick up points to make something out of it
• Have a track record to show, If you are an expert at something, you need to have a result set for that.
• Justify the expectations and do not negotiate from your side

It’s understood that spending an hour chatting with a wise guy/girl is much better than reading a book or watching a show. Experience is not a myth. Know who's the best in the field and just "ASK" all that you want, you are nothing but their reflection 10 years back. Chill out, all these wise guys were as confused as you are, Its just a matter of time ;-)
