Tamil family TALKS

It’s too much to take for a guy who doesn’t speak much, really! Sometimes these family talks just get me frustrated to the core. Some spree of topics which has got me tired and has made me realize that it’s so damn innocently weird.

Some person got an MBA seat & is heading for a bright future which would supposedly fetch him huge sums after passing out- I just can’t speak on this coz I flunked miserably throughout my acads, but I am sure of one thing that no freaking education can guarantee you huge sums without having to work your ass off (on the job).

Some guy was as tall as me & it seems it was tough to find him a match (spouse)- really!!, I hear all the time that being tall is a virtue (I am not gawky or anything, nor am I over grown). I really am not a marriageable commodity as of now, now that’s all over my face & age too...;-)



Who is an ideal grown up child & how they behave- It’s always ‘oh k’ with me for all that they say in the family but when a person defines ideal child as ‘the one who doesn’t talk with others, doesn’t go on outings, listens to what all their parents say & finally, have amazing academic track records’...I say F**k off, it’s just that the child is a loner & can’t find friends for him/herself, that’s all to it (an open question- temme me a guy/girl who made is big without having any people skills?)...I hate this coz, I am simply opposite..;-)

Which is the so called best career option- now that I’ve got in this techie stuff (IT industry) after my engineering; which is what every other dog is doing now a days, I get to hear anything and everything as a career option except this one. BTW engineering is still the most sought after graduation course & most of them have sent their kids for engineering...why?

No more emotional attyachar...got fed up & now I know what exactly all the Tamil family talks are about, I am a proud Tamilian but I am surly not from a family which speaks like this, my family is way too ahead of times...;-)...BTW the family which speaks like this is also very innocently cool, I love them man!

PS: I just don’t wanna fall in this league later in time, let us be practical & let them be!
PS: I am sure there are a lot of you out there, who get the same crap as this (for me it aint frequent, lucky me;-))

TV Channels ;-(

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages. The candidate you want to hire

If you are hiring, the best fit for you would be someone who can fit right-in without any kind of training. There are a lot of guys like that out in the market, but the challenge is that you need to find them, that explains why monster.com and naukri.com is such a big hit.
