BOAT CLUB- New Year

Amazing night out....enjoyed more than expected and it was gr8 doing something out of the box like talking,dancing & drinking (mock tail types) etc etc...;-). This is something which would come in my TOP 10 memorable things done in Chennai.

This was the New Year BASH!!! @ a very well known club in chennai MBC (Madras Boat Club). Actually the party started @ 9:30pm but i was called @ 9:45pm. All the arrangement and invitation credits goes to Banna & her Parents, Without her nobody could have possibly been linked up to come together for this night. Kudos 2 her (Banna's) plan, Buck up!!
WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED
  • Meeting time: 9:45pm (31-12-07)
  • Banna & Family with Paddu arrived @ around 10:00pm and readily recognized me standing in the entrance ;-)
  • I was quite scared as all the employees (drivers) working there were wearing the same white shirt as me and i was really intimidated with this bloody fact.
  • We went inside, and till this moment i have no idea about the tickets which were bought for me and how much i am supposed to pay 4 it (everything was taken care by Uncle/Aunty/Paddu)
  • As soon as we entered, following out tradition...we took a snap (Banna, Paddu, Me)
  • Then we went to the Dance Floor which was built on top of a LAKE, very descent floor which accommodated good numbers. Danced for more than an hour ....nice DJ, diversifying songs were played ;-) (Hindi, Tamil, English)
  • Then came back and had a coke with little liquor mixed in it. (to be precise it was just a drop or two...i.e. just for the sake of adding I added (just 4 fun))
  • Then again we went @ around 11:30pm (dance floor) and then finally, it was the final countdown time...which was fabulously done in the club with varied firecrackers ....again the tradition was followed...hugged and wished everyone(really!!)
  • we were just dancing with no clue of when to have our dinner (actually nobody was hungry, in the end the coupons were wasted),then in the end we stopped and headed for a soft drink with some snacks (non-veg).
  • Then "Mansi"(the singer) came and we made plans to go somewhere in MOCHA (coffee house), but then it was closed by then (@ around 2:20am), so we went to BARISTA (near by) in Nungambakkam.
  • Finally, i dropped "Angadh" in his place and headed back to my house, reached @ 3:45am.....then crashed @ 4:00am....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!
PS1: Best New Year of my life so far (Party was amazing and really a very POSH affair)
PS2: CLUB regulations: no tee's or V-necks, strictly trousers and Shoes are must for Gents but for Ladies -everything will do...quite obvious
PS3: My dance was pathetic but WHO CARES!! it was paddu & banna ...they were equally bad..hehehe..actually the start was gr8 and very dancelike but then everybody got tired and were sweating 2much..which bought some new steps to our dance.;-)
PS5: Had a chat with Kartik, Paddu's "WOULD BE" ;-)....he's 2 cool with paddu doing all crap (drinking, smoking n whatsoever) and he had literally no plans for this NEW YEAR apart from a get2gether with his friends.
PS6: The crowd was damn damn Posh...totally westernized people (clothing)
PS7: last but the required, we kinda missed a character "sailesh"...not that we missed him badly but ya to an extent...i don't no about others but i missed him while we were sitting and chatting....actually he has innovative methods to rekindle pasts and somehow bring a topic to talk on (thats his talent).

ohh these bloody TV channels are so damn getting into my nerves that its content has made me to write an article on my blog। There is absolutely no dilution of the channel content for weeks 2 go, I have been watching TV just coz I have all the time in this world till I get my joining date ;-) but again there is nothing left for me 2 watch as they broadcast the same thing again and again. WHATS THERE 2 CHANGE MUSIC- plz stop darde disco, ankhon mei teri, mauja mauja & move your body baby etc etc, Put some tracks which may date back 2 the 70s but not these again and again. If not the old list, start with some new movie albums and some tracks from strings or junoon which are nowhere 2 be seen. TV shows- start new seasons of the shows like friends, sienfeld or the OC, the desperate housewives or else change the show itself but plz dont torture with the same season again and again. The only best part of the channels- THE EVER CHANGING ADVERTISING SECTOR WHICH COMES UP WITH EXTREMELY CR...

Wipro- Reporting day

Better late than never...a perfect beginning for my blog post. It's time to write about my unexpected event which certainly did come to reality today. I used to search google for a post like this in my final year/post placements/post engineering but I never found anything informative & straight to the point with regards to the reporting day ( not trying to boast, really!! )...So, I've put in a little effort to give you the exact picture of whats what on the reporting day!! Wipro Technologies did is for us, it was our reporting day today (27th April 2009). Our training starts on May 4th 2009 (one more week to go). Let me just rewind & play the whole day. Reporting at Wipro office , (Guindy) Chennai- reached half an hour before and the process started just as we reached i.e. at 8:00am (bang on time) Talent ready to transform Form filling - have everything calculated to enter in your form i.e. all the 10th,12th & semester wise percentages.
