Placed at WIPRO
This is the best thing that has ever happened to me (till date). Seriously!!!!.....I was dead hunting for a job, not that I was hunting from a long time, actually, its just been 3 days. But I was really scared about all the eligibility fundas and all the shitty things that had happened to the previous batches in our college during our college placements.
I have always felt bad for my having performed really bad in my schooling, but now (all of a sudden) I am in a very comfortable position. It feels really good to have a job with one more year to my engineering.
I had promised (to myself) that after I get a good job, I will prepare really hard for my MBA, this is a promise to be taken care off. So, I really feel that I should sincerely do my CAT prep and make sure that I get an admission somewhere.
Anyhow, it feels great to get placed. My interview was really good as I answered almost everything that was asked.
Wipro placements - what's it like?
Now its time to play the game, I really very happy. But because everyone in our class has not gotten placed, there is a little disappointment for the deserving candidates of our class.

Wipro placements - what's it like?
- WIPRO recruited 9 student from our class. 7 boys and 2 girls. In all 14 from our department.
- It has got a pay of 3.25 Laks/annum.
- My priorities for work location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune
- My name was the last in the list of the placed/recruited candidates, what are the odds!
- I was the topper from my dept, so I did not have to give any aptitude test. I had a direct interview (technical and HR).
- I had failed badly in my CTS aptitude test, but then, I regained the confidence and was ready for the WIPRO interview.
- The three "most wanted" candidates have got into the same company...Kishore, Joe, and Girish (I). Here is my CTS rejection post.
- The luckiest people of the class who were not having eligibility for many other coming companies have l luckily got placed in WIPRO....Vickrum, Joe and I :).
- Some deserving candidates have not got in but I think the company doesn't deserve them. My friends who did not get the job are really good, and I am sure they will get better companies to join.
- Last but the most important fact is that. I personally this, getting in campus placement is also about luck factor. It's like, 50% luck, 40% communication skills, and 10% technical skills.
Now its time to play the game, I really very happy. But because everyone in our class has not gotten placed, there is a little disappointment for the deserving candidates of our class.
