Won the battle - Lost the WAR

its simply terrorism & of course they are here 2 kill...be it a high profile civilian or a policemen or any1..this post is not about what is to be done? & what all happened? but its about whats clearly felt (personal note).

"what can we learn from this incident" is the question to be answered...but I say for a moment keep the incident on hold & focus on "whats there 2 learn from the terrorists"...those bloody 25-30yrs old youth with immense training & determination have executed it & its their aim which made them do inhuman things (4 days straight battle..how on earth?), the country has finest NSG, Police & the Army but still everyone was given a hard time in this operation. Its something which explains "if you are head bent about something, then your more likely to get the thing you want"

Terror- Now thats more like it!!...A guy with a few bullets who just wants to watch the world burn
I was watching TV; switching different news channels for around 10hrs a day but what makes my blood boil is that these people are destined to kill & be killed eventually, they do not even want to escape with a hostage situation; its just that they want to make their presence felt worldwide , even at the cost of their own lives. I felt very bad as civilians had no idea of bullets being showered at them, its not the casualties to be highlighted, its the Freedom & Security of people on the edge.

Things in my 20's amateur head:
  • If we have an intake of 10 people in the NDA,IMA etc...then we should bring in 20 & train them for internal & external disturbances (50-50%).. We really really need a home land security in our country.
  • Bring in rules which deals with- Area wise intelligence & ID proofing
  • Fight the people who manufacture these terrorists coz these terrorist are not born evil.
  • Bring no politics to security & freedom of the people
  • Make things tight & not lengthy- work towards getting things done by getting the right people to work
  • Make things strict- be it about wearing helmet while driving, or smoking on the streets or any such small things which unknowingly take more than 500 lives every day

PS: I tried for NDA but dint qualify, people would really like to join the forces (as I did)...but I really was not the right fit academic wise but other areas were quite fine with me.
PS: No one is to blame, "be the change you want to see in the country"..thats the bottom line.
PS: I think people die on a daily basis like this in the places like Kashmir but when it happens in Mumbai people are stunned..just coz its affecting their lives, that's how silly things really are.."till it doesn't directly strike me, I would let it happen & not bother"
PS: Whatever happens, try trusting the youths for work...coz they can sweat their blood for some work if properly paid/satisfied.
PS: God bless Mumbai & the whole wide world as a matter of fact.
PS: I salute each & every person who fought in this operation (all those who are dead & all those who came back alive)

CAT-08 slipped

oh good god!! Finally the D-Day has become history & with full confidence I can announce that there are more exams 4 me to appear as this was a flop show..;-). I liked the experience of CAT exam & I am also very clear about how easy can the paper get for those who have prepared coz really CAT ain't some rocket science, its just a GENERAL paper with immense surprise factor to deal with.

I would equip myself for the coming exams & hope for the best for getting in a coveted b-school in a year or two. I am also very sure that I ain't rushing myself for getting in some b-schools just to get over with my post graduation instead I'd take things slowly & make the most outta my MBA which I'd do in future (hopefully).

PS: I met one female sitting just in front of me, who was so so silly that she asked me whether we can copy or not (that's heights of innocence a.k.a stupidity..LOL)..;-D..BTW she took my number...hurry hurry, at least I got something out of this CAT exam...LOL
PS: My cousin bro studying @ IIM-L is himself unhappy with the way things are proceeding in regards with the placements there...I was stunned to hear that even the mighty IIM's are badly hit by this market crash....chalo at least I am not the only victim...;-)

My First Resignation Letter

I don't know man!! was I drunk while writing such shit things in my resignation letter...kinda weired but what 2 do, it's my first resignation letter & I gotta save it for LOL'ing @ myself later on in life..;-D..lolz..its kinda accomplishment, finally I RESIGNED........yeah!!!

Dear Arvind

I am really sorry for myself for not pursuing this career path, Its not the job or the company, its just that I am not suitable for this profile as I don't see myself in your position in the coming years and also because of the ego quotient in me towards sales. I am not able to work on the company standards nor my own expectations towards sales & management, apart from my capabilities; my interest & passion for the work is missing & my attitude is all wrong; which is why I took this decision.

In the end, I would earnestly like to thank you for your encouragement & your sales profiling training which would really be of some use to me later on in my career. Thanks for the whole process & I would want to depart in a very professional & friendly terms.

Thanks again & Keep in touch.

Regards

By the way, this resignation letter was not asked for but me being a courteous guy, I gave him a correct reason. I am not an asshole to leave a job without telling my boss about why I left it. After the phone call chat where I clearly mentioned

ME: "Sir I wont be coming"
ARVIND: "Why, what happened"
ME: "Got other work sir, gotta study for entrance exams"
ARVIND: "Oh so your not coming for today rite"
ME: "No sir, actually I wanna discontinue"
ARVIND: "Whhhhhy, (a big pause) oh k never mind"

then comes a short & simple message (SMS) "come & meet me in the afternoon", I don't have any reason to go; so I messaged "Not today but will come tomorrow"...of course I dint go & I am never gonna go coz that's how things really are.

PS: My boss (Arvind) is truly an amazing guy who has no ego at all & is fun to be with (in the office). Great guy, but his business dint suite me. All those marketing job seekers, this guy can really be a good tutor & can make you a good salesman/marketing executive, so go ahead and apply for VISION, Hyderabad.

Article digg

Really I have nothing to write, actually nothing is up here in my side. But then, there are a lot of things I've got which really deserves a space in my blog. They are self explanatory. Go ahead & have a look!!! (courtesy: TOI, Readers Digest etc etc)

SUTTA NA MILA- Finally a good good fight against public smoking, Hope its applicable as bold as its seen in the article.

HUSBAND HAVOC- that's so so so so true, really an ARGUMENT STARTER...I wonder how come the source is "university of Michigan"...really!! don't these institutes have to work on spaceships, cancer & high funda science & technology...;-) LOL

MARKET SKETCH- results in JOBLESS & HOMELESS junta, I lie in the former category, this is why I am out of work (not just me, other thousands of people too (mainly IT engineering grads..cheers 2 all u out there..;-)..))

ORKUT/E-MAIL LOVERS- This goes to all those who love orkut & log on to check for some creature who might have scraped them, actually those who think having more scraps is synonymous to some kinda status parameter..(BTW I used to be an orkut addict before, hours logged in)

SMOKING DICKS- now that's so so direct, all those who suck on cigarettes, kick the habit or else the thing in you which is suckable might go dead when required..LOL..;-)..most stupidest thing a person can do is to take up smoking (thinking is cool)...get over it & get real..

EMPLOYEE GROWTH- That's the company I worked for!!!, I got from a trainee to a trainer (2nd level), but my ego towards sales made me quit...Hope all the other reach where they want to...cheers to the COBRA GROUP-VISION employees

WELL SAID WARREN- Warren buffet really has a way with words..;-)..LOL..its good that such rich people have such an amazing thinking (hopefully, kids are not super super rich & most of his fortune is into humanity/charity)

PS: hi hello!! ..good collection I guess, anyhow!! anything else do let me know!!
PS: there are a lot of other things 2 do...but I am so jobless that I am doing this shit job of attaching snaps to my blog...that's how ugly boredom can get!!!

Now I get it!!

Yeah that's the exact thing which came 2 my mind when I thought of my current state. For reader's info (I think its me who reads my own blogs, so technically me); I have drastically changed in my academic perspective, forget academics; get the learning perspective to the board.

I cant learn things properly, its not because I've got some problem with my capabilities; its just that I am not having a need/interest towards it. Its the mind set which is the name of the game in this situation.

Perfect picture for the post (courtesy: google images)

I remember the schooling days wherein I used to read only and only because I feared my parents seeing me doing nothing; not because I feared failing or because I liked the subjects. Guess what happened!! I failed terribly & did no justice to my capabilities. Now that's the same thing happening to me now, I see myself worthy of nothing which really major my interests i.e. I can't respond to my IT skills nor can I get to any of my analytical ability tests; as always I am doing miserable.

NOW I GET IT!!!

All the time I was doing things without me wanting to or without me accepting the fact that its good & required. when I was doing my engineering, I excelled my own expectations all the time coz I felt & believed in where I really wanted to be & did whatever possibly I could do towards getting there. That's what took me from where I am to where I wanted to be.

So so so so so so so... its the mindset which takes it all, I require to scrutinize my mindset to get things working my way.

PS: lets get 2 it, enough of shit over me...its time 2 clear things.

Harish Harassment Case

Fun filled diwali is over & this post is dedicated to Harish (my bro). Certainly, this had to come today or some other day. Harish is like some kinda target point for everyone, whatever he does is wrong (be it right or wrong) & is hyped to extremes. By the by I was not responsible for any of this, it was all mouthed by elders (mom & dad & other close relatives)

Cause of harassment- why him all the time??
  1. I manage to escape all pit holes but he seems to dig his own holes & fall in them
  2. "man of words" is the exact opposite trait of his.
  3. Sometimes very silly for the age he carries.
  4. People take him for granted- that he would some how get in terms & come under their point.
  5. No Enthu for anything outdoor, just wants to relax all day chit chatting & sitting/sleeping @ home.
  6. Jokes come out in bulk from him- so whatever he does is not taken seriously.
  7. No gyan acquiring mentality, runs as far as he can from gyan quotient.
A lot more to state but not from my side instead it should come from someone who has been with him in his recent times i.e. for the last 4-5 years. Anyhow enough of secondary causes, now its better to give in the root cause which generate all the other causes.

Roots which needs to be addressed in order to solve the case
  1. His Health- he might be healthier than me or any other guy but again an outward appearance is required for people to evaluate coz he coughs all the time, walks with two legs far apart & has a belly of a  pregnant women pushing her 3rd month...LOL... & of course takes huge amounts of antibiotics/medicines which might really harm his system. Now that certainly is not a guy in his 20's, it seems like someone in his 40s.
  2. His Research quotient- he never gets to the end point & returns half way thinking its over; which backfires most of the times (in talks or else where), There needs to be an outward pull in him which takes him to the end. One quality- "he is more than happy with what he has" (as I c it), which is one of the best things to retain but its not good if he is not going out elsewhere for a hunt as there is always a better thing than the best (be it any assets).
nothing much, that's about it. Its not something which he doesn't know, its just something which I came to know recently. This really needs to be addressed if not the next family gathering would involve another Harassment charge sheet..;-).

PS: If people volunteer to come forward & add their points to this post, then I think we would require one who site or a server...LOL..;-)
PS: This case need to be closed in a few month time, Dad's gotta word on it & hopefully it would.
PS: most of his notorious qualities are in me (at time, not always), so I kinda have a self evaluation over here...;-)

Tummy full of DIWALI

After an amazing evening @ a restaurant/pub with my boss (Arvind sharma), I came home late & was all set to pack for the trip ahead. Slept late & got up early to board a morning Jet-flight (8:30 am).

Reached the financial capital of India a.k.a dust accumulation point of India in just 2hrs time (totally), Mumbai was altogether another planet as things were new & it’s almost been a year to my visit, BTW Mumbai is too much developed. We came home to Harish & Pooja, surprisingly even they had taken a week off for this Diwali.

25th oct-  after a good meal, we started with FLASH (card game); played cards whenever we had a few hours to kill & it was my day as I won most of the times. At Night- usual family talks; mostly “Harish Harassment Sessions” (HHS)..;-).LOL..then finally dad came home and it was time 2 sleep.

26thoct- again a GOOD GOOD Food & lotsa FLASH but this time I lost big time as Pooja & Harish had tag teamed ..;-). Afternoon; Sundaram chittapa & chitti came home, which was gr8 as we had some 2hrs of chatting, then @ night we all headed to E-ZONE which was an amazing store in an amazing location…I also met Sailesh & Pramod for a chat. Then from there we went on to see the SEZ area & we were quiet surprised to see the drastic development, nearby was Pooja’s office (MAERSK) which was a pretty huge & impressive office. Then the Subway delights to end the day.

27th oct- got up & its HAPPY DIWALI. Had an amazing 20min Olive Oil massage & set out for an hour of hot water bath. All of us wore new cloths & had some nice PHOTOS clicked. Again it was FLASH time (I lost terribly), then in the evening I started off with THOMAS ASSESSMENT (PPA) which was some sort of a behavioral conduct tool- My final assessments states that “I am Personally Frustrated”...How FCuKin true..LOL..;-). After that the rest of the day went in making a new CV which had Pooja’s CV grammar in it. I am happy with the new CV & hope some interview calls are on my way..Kung Fu Panda was good (my 3rd time) on the DVD player, every1 liked it.

28th oct- MUMABAI 2 PUNE (Tavera Car ride).1st pit stop- Rohan Rohil’s house in Nerul, had an amazing amazing breakfast (nice variety).2nd pit stop- Laxman Mama’s house, first look @ the new born HARINI (she was so so so so cute). Then we reached our destination- Pune, Bhramha estate- late in the evening was LAXMI pooja (I guess!!), then it was time for another tummy filling dinner (nice variety & different from the usual), I couldn’t take anymore so I had to go to sleep, rest of them played FLASH.

Harish with the magician @ SANSKRUTI

29th oct- First things first, we headed to Pooja’s Grandparents house- again amazing breakfast & off course it was good to see them. One thing which was very much felt was that “We all were pampered”, which was good coz this happens very few a times in adulthood. Then we headed for a 50km drive to NARAYANPUR BALAGI TEMPLE (A Tirupati look-alike)- nice temple but a long line which took us an hour for darshan (Peek time visit), also a nice & quick sambar rice Prasad. Night Out @ SANSKRUTI- oh boy! This was truly a very different experience; I had never been to such a place which had so much to witness & a lot to explore/experience- “Truly an amazing concept”…Range of things- Manipuri/Rajasthani dance, rope balance, tattoo, pottery, Magic, Palmistry, Orchestra with a dance floor, Gazals, Mehendi, Joker, some rides & of course a very nice dinner.

Narayanpur Balaji Temple

30th,31st oct- PUNE 2 MUMBAI (same ride), a quick stop @ Sundaram Chittapa’s house, then after a 20min snack we headed home, I got a nice NIKE shoes which was surprisingly an exact fit, @ night- I met Sanoj, Sajila, Alok, Kartik Krishnan & even Albert- had one vada pav & came home.

1st novHAPPY BDAY to Pooja @ sharp 12:00. Harish had ordered a cake with exactly 26/27 flowers, we sung & celebrated with a re-gifting session of her ACER Tablet PC & mom gifted some jewelry (earnings I guess!!). In the afternoon we went for FASHION movie- it was not all that good, actually pretty expensive affair overall. Then @ night- it was a nice dinner @ UTSAV in hiranandani wherein even Prakash bhaiya & Sangeeta Akka had come with smriti & shriya kutti.

Pooja, Akka, Shriya, Smriti & Harish (@ UTSAV)

2nd nov- a very nice breakfast @ Akka’s place (Masala Dosa) then some games with Smriti which ranges from underarm cricket to dumb sherads. Then MUMBAI 2 HYDERABAD by Indigo airlines.

Amazing trip, really!! such trips refreshes us from the usual day to day life & gives a platform for a new start with altogether different mindset & freshness. Hope such times come every now & then.

PS: I love it, but one thing is for sure- Mumbai is full of dust, there is no pure oxygen to breathe I guess (all of us have cough after such immense roaming, disease prone place). But whatever it is, it’s Mumbai with its own charm.

PS: there may be a lot of things I’ve missed but the above post gives most of the memorable events.

PS: Gotta work from tomorrow, Monday is a holiday in the place I work.

PS: I'm kinda pissed coz throughout the trip I was the cameraman & all the sanps captured had every1 except me. SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!!!
